Formerly, in the days before Easter, the young people of the village went in the mas, to sing "Goigs" (pronounce " gotch ", mean "enjoyment" in Catalan), songs in honor of the Virgin which, as it was said, protected people and animals for year. In exchange, the boss of places filled the basket of eggs and provisions which were shared the day of Easter during a rural meal.

To Amélie-les-Bains, this tradition is always alive, Goigs and Cantarellas (profane songs) still resound under balconies and on Easter Mondays, it is around the Chapel of Santa Engracia, freshly restored, that will be shared the invaluable booty.
