The International Folk Festival

Come from Europe, from Asia, from America, from Oceania, from Africa, more than 600 dancers, singers and musicians break out on the thermal city(estate) second week of August for the International Folk Festival. They bring, in present, all the wealth of their ancestral culture.

So, since 1935, year of birth of the Occitan Parties, the International Folk Festival does not stop increasing (growing). It proved by its membership in 1983 to the CIOFF (Conseil International des Organisateurs de Festivals Folkloriques), placed under the high patronage of the UNESCO. Eminently peaceful choreographic and musical jousts, the Festival, in a kaleidoscope of colours and rhythms, offers to the amazed visitor an unforgettable image of the wealth of the cultures of the world and fleeting feeling of a possible peace between all the peoples.
